"Tegal Sari Luwak Coffee offers a wonderful experience. They have a fantastic variety of coffee and tea to try, each with its own unique flavor. The tour was well-guided and informative, giving us insights into the coffee-making process and the famous Luwak coffee. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, making the experience both enjoyable and educational. Highly recommend this place for coffee lovers and anyone interested in learning about traditional coffee production."
"Been to a couple of coffee farms and this one is nice compact and well kept. You can taste some coffee and tea for free. The experience is absolutely free except if you would like to order luwak coffee. Out of all the things we tasted I liked the mangosteen tea and rosella tea the best. They have some unique coffee like avocado coffee which is made with dried avocado roasted with the coffee and ground together. It has a creamy taste and they also added coconut milk which was nice. The lady who walked us through the plants and farm was super nice and we enjoyed our short trip here. Afterwards we headed to their shop for some retail therapy and bought some gifts for back home (this part is optional and we were not pushed in any way to buy anything)— I haven’t opened these as they are gifts but there are some comments on other reviews saying these are too sugary… I will update my review once I get to taste what I bought with my family. The pricing is definitely way too high but I always see it as a way to support locals and give them some sales… there are definitely better tea options out there but this was just me helping out the locals too… The toilets were very clean when we used them complete with paper towels and soap. The staff were all lovely and they take cards too. Update: the product tasted just the same as what we sampled so I can say this was not a scam :-) Thanks"
"Tegal Sari is a must-visit for coffee lovers and anyone curious about traditional Balinese coffee culture. It’s more than just a coffee stop — it’s a cultural experience. One of the highlights was the coffee and tea tasting session. They served a wide variety of local teas and coffees, each with its own distinct flavor. Of course, trying the Luwak coffee itself was the highlight — smooth, rich, and unlike any coffee I’ve had before."
"We had a great experience at Tegal Sari Luwak coffee plantation. It's a short tour but very informative. The staff is very friendly and trying to answer any questions you might have. After the tour you are invited for a tasting of coffee and tea which is FOR FREE, but make sure you check out their shop if you do like any of the coffees or teas, because that's how you can support their business :) Also I recommend to taste the Luwak coffee which is truly special."
"A Memorable Tea & Coffee Tasting Experience in Indonesia One of the highlights of our unforgettable trip to Indonesia was the exceptional tea and coffee tasting experience we had. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine kindness and care that made the experience truly special. The setting was stunning, surrounded by natural beauty that added to the charm of the moment. The tasting itself was perfectly organized and wonderfully guided — each tea and coffee was introduced with passion and expertise. The famous Luwak coffee was a unique and fascinating discovery, and every sip was a delight. The hospitality, the peaceful atmosphere, and the quality of the service made this experience one we’ll never forget. We warmly and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a moment of serenity, discovery, and authentic flavors."
"Our tour stopped here. We had a short tour through the gardens and a demonstration of coffee roasting. There were sleeping Luwaks, which are free to roam at night. We had a free tasting platter of local teas and coffees. Then I tried Luwak coffee for 50,000. I would have bought products, but am at the beginning of my trip. They were nice about that."
"This tea coffee place has a interesting way of tasting. A guide will greet you at parking and on the way inside will show all the trees and herbs grown around. They also showcase how coffee of grown then prepared. Later u are guided to a dining area where guid will let you taste about 15 types of tea & coffee from which u can later buy any one in the shop. And thats only what you pay for."
"Very cool experience. It is a small tour (about 20 minutes) but the staff was very friendly and informative. There are a couple Lusaka to see but they are in a cage due to the Lusaka being nocturnal. You are presented with a sampling of several teas and coffees grown on the plantation, but you will have to pay 50000IDR for a sample (full cup) of Luwak. At the end of the tour you trave through the shop where you can purchase any of the flavors in either bean or powder, honey, cocoa, fragrances, and other items at reasonable prices with absolutely no pressure to buy."
